As per the norms of the Govt of Orissa, 15% of total seats will be filled-up through AIEEE and another 15% of total seats will be filled-up by NRI students. Rest 70% of seats will be filled-up through only Orissa Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE).Three year Diploma holders(or appeared candidates) with 60% of marks and +3 Science graduates(or appeared candidates) with 60% of marks can take admission through Lateral Entry with OJEE or AIEEE rank. Apart from that 10% of total intake will be filled-up by meritorious girls, physically handicapped and economically backward students with OJEE or AIEEE ranks without any course fees.

Similiarly for Medical College , as per the norms of the Govt of Orissa, 15% of total seats will be filled-up through AIPMT and another 15% of total seats will be filled-up by NRI students. Rest 70% of seats will be filled-up through only Orissa Joint Entrance Examination(OJEE).
